Programs Offered

GGCMT offers Intermediate programs, a Diploma in IT, and seven four-year BS degree programs affiliated with the University of the Punjab.

Intermediate Programs

Science Group (F.Sc.)

Pre-Medical: Physics, Chemistry, Biology
Pre-Engineering: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics

General Science (ICS)

Physics / Mathematics with Computer Science, Statistics or Economics.

Commerce (I.Com)

Principles of Accounting, Commerce & Economics, Business Mathematics & Statistics, Banking / Computer / IT.

Arts (F.A)

A range of elective combinations including Economics, Civics, Sociology, Education, Persian, Arabic and Computer Science.

Note: Students must opt for one complete group combination. Any combination selected by fewer than ten students may not be offered.

Diploma in Information Technology (DIT)

A two-year program equivalent to ICS, providing practical, industry-relevant skills for the digital economy.

BS Degree Programs (4-Year)

All BS programs are affiliated with the University of the Punjab and combine theoretical knowledge with practical training through laboratory work, semester projects, internships and a final-year / capstone project.

BS Computer Science (BSCS)

Programming, data structures, algorithms, databases, networks, operating systems, AI, data science, cybersecurity and cloud computing.

BS Software Engineering (BSSE)

Software development, system design, database management, web & mobile applications, software testing and emerging technologies.

BS Information Technology (BSIT)

Developing, implementing, managing and securing modern IT systems, networks, cloud computing and cybersecurity.

BS Data Science (BSDS)

Collecting, analyzing, interpreting and visualizing data using statistics, machine learning, AI and big-data analytics.

BS Business & Information Technology (BSBIT)

Integrating business management with IT — business analytics, enterprise systems, e-commerce and information systems.

BS Business Administration (BBA)

Management, accounting, finance, marketing, HR, entrepreneurship, economics and strategic management.

BS English

English literature, linguistics, language teaching, creative writing, literary criticism and communication skills.
